Intensiv Ortho-Strips® 40 µm RED
Standard Strip for Interproximal Reduction

Intensiv Ortho-Strips® 40 µm (Medium, red) form the core of the standard IPR workflow. After the contact is opened with the Opener 8 µm, this strip reliably removes in 10 seconds about 0.2 mm of enamel—enough space for most orthodontic cases while keeping dentine safe.

Standard Three-Step IPR

1. Opening — OS08 Opener 8 µm (minimal abrasion)
2. Reduction — OS40M RED 40 µm (~ 0.2 mm) → verify with IPR-DistanceControl gauges
3. Polishing — OS15POL YELLOW 15 µm (high-gloss enamel finish)
