Intensiv IPR-DistanceControl gauges give an instant, chairside check of the space you create during interproximal reduction (IPR). Each electropolished stainless-steel blade has a calibrated thickness that slides between teeth, confirming the planned reduction before you switch to the next strip or grit. Colour-coded anodised handles speed up recognition, while the angled blade tip allows true vertical insertion even in posterior segments.

Clinical Protocol
- After each reduction step, rinse and dry the interproximal area.
- Select the gauge that matches the intended space (e.g. 0.30 mm).
- Insert vertically; a passive fit confirms the target space is achieved, resistance means further reduction is required.
- Verify again with the next gauge size or proceed to finishing strips.
